Tilly studied for her BSc in Landscape Architecture and Ecology at The University of Sheffield in 2000 going
on to complete a postgraduate diploma in Landscape Architecture. Following University, she worked for Landscape
practices in Vancouver, Canada, and London, UK working on projects from concept through to completion including large scale
schemes such as the redevelopment of the Seas to Sky Highway, Vancouver and small residential garden
designs which included project management and detailed design of a gold medal winning garden at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2008.
In 2010 Tilly gained a place at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew on their Apprenticeship programme during which she gained practical hands-on
experience working with differnt flora from all corners of the globe. She specialised in propagation with a placement in the
Temperate House Nursery where she propagated many rare and unique species for the restoration of the historical Temperate House.
In her final year she took a particular interest in Orchids and gained a travel scholarship to work, travel and study these amazing plants
in Ecuador.
Tilly has worked as a gardener and designer for the past 10 years using her extensive knowledge of practical horticulture and design
principles. She offers tailored garden consultations, maintenance planning, detailed planting design and plant sourcing to help you
achieve the best from your outside space.
